hello? is this thing on?

anybody been running? i’ve had a couple slow weeks due to travel and a gnarly cold.

i did manage eight trail miles with one of my fastest friends yesterday, the soreness today would be best described as: exquisite and persistent.

gotta try to man up and do five tonight after work. who’s with me???

DUDE YEAH! WHERE ALL THE RUNNERS AT!!!!!!!!!! i did another half marathon a little over a week ago. it was hilly, but not lame hilly. if that makes any sense. but last week’s runs were super-rough. i thought i’d be a lot better off when the weekend got here for my long run, but when i got out there, my legs were pretty toasty after just a couple miles. i actually cut my run off around 5.5 miles, and did about 3 more later on the treadmill. i am really bad about doing post-run rolling, i’m curious if that would help with my recovery time.

i’m still pretty stoked on running though. i keep wanting to sign up for races to keep me motivated. what are we doing next after the oakland race. we should look for a trail race, i want to do more trail runs. RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bros! Ran 9 miles last weekend… was supposed to run 10 this weekend but I’m not gunna. Rough week heath wise… going to build up to a longer run (hopefully 10 miles) next weekend, should be able to get in enough milage to be able to complete the oakland 1/2.

As far as what’s next I’d love to take a trip somewhere… big sur, sea ranch, etc… where we can take a weekend and hit some trails.

Sorry, missed this message. Yes, i totally do. You’ll need to cut your pace in half though.

if you can do 10 (which you can, if you can do 9…. heh), then you’re golden! i’ve talked with numerous people who follow half marathon training programs that top out at 10, and they all finished AOK! i’m super way totally down for a long weekend filled with a run or two and lots of hanging out. let’s do it…
